Author What a challenging course! The BASI level 2 telemark course has been good fun and will enable telemark-skiing.co.uk to continue to provide quality telemark skiing instruction here in the Midlands and beyond throughout the coming year and into the future.

Pretty little town BUT today just about everything was shut!
Tried hitch hiking back to Hintertux…. No joy….. Anyone had success hitching in this neck of the woods?

Today’s challenges have been no less than before. A different set of skis made the first few runs a little wobbly to say the least BUT the other guys on the course feel they are better for improving my technique….. Perhaps not as good asy twin tips for in the snow park BUT you can’t win em all. Here’s to continued development over the coming week.
Remember nobody notices that you ski on alpine gear!!!

Hintertux – BASI telemark skiing level 2 course
What a fantastic resort, loving the views , great skiing conditions, tired as not been in resort for some time. Met some new faces and some old ones – a great place to network. Would love to hear how the rest of the world is coping with the volcano situation – it fairly messed up my own travel plans, but then it is great for reducing our carbon footprint as the human race. Happy skiing!!!!

I can’t believe I am out in the gorgeous sunshine…… And still have a 2week skiing trip to take before the season is out….. Work of course!!!!
