Novice Races - serious fun, with 3 days additional training and 2 novice races down part of the championship course

Championship Races - top 50 - 60 racers eligible to participate in Sprint Classic, Telemark Giant Slalom and Telemark Classic races with individual and team prizes awarded.

Snowsport England On-snow Training

Kvitavatn, Norway

28th March - 4th April 2009

The ninth SSE on snow course is aimed at cross country skiers who wish to improve their skills, alpine skiers wishing to improve their downhill skills by converting to freeheel, freeheel skiers wishing to develop their on and off-piste techniques and SSE members wishing to re-validate an award.

Days will include skills training in xc and telemark disciplines, snow related skills, talks, slide shows and quizes.

Coaching Costs - £295 (£35 discount if booked before 31/12/08)

Equipment - bring your own although telemark equipment can be hired in the ski centre - from £100

Accommodation - staying in the Kvitavatn Fjellstoge (1000m) situated below Gausta (1800m) - bunkbed accommodation with self service meal arrangements - £286 for a bed bunk room.

Travel - book your own flights to Oslo Gardemoen and and then share a return bus - £80

Lift passes - these are available at approx £110 where required.
